Digital Nature

The operating system for dive & aquarium operations

Every diver, every dive, on one live manifest.

One platform for the whole operation — divers, dives, guests, equipment and compliance, updating live for everyone who should see it.

Designed with aquarium and dive-centre operators from the Red Sea to Bali.

  • Public aquariums

Scientific and husbandry diving with DSO and DCB governance, exhibit locations, and guest dive experiences — with the compliance record built in.

  • Dive centres

From the booking link to the nightly manifest: group bookings, pre-arrival paperwork and boat planning for operations past the spreadsheet stage.

  • Universities & research

Scientific-diving programmes with AAUS-style standards, diver authorisation and visiting-diver reciprocity.

  • Aquaculture

Working dives across sites, zones and cages, scheduled and logged against the same safety rules as everyone else.

Modules

  • People & fit to dive

    Live

    Every diver, one readiness answer

A single directory for staff and divers where certifications, medicals and authorisations roll up into a plain traffic-light answer: fit to dive, needs review, or do not dive.

    • Certification & medical expiry tracking
    • Checkout-dive authorisation workflow
    • Role-based access for every team
  • Dive operations

    In development

Plan it, confirm it, run it

Dive templates and scheduling flow into a live execution board: who is in the water, air in and air out, and an alert the moment a dive runs over.

    • Daily confirmation & dive manifests
    • “Divers in water” live board
    • Air-in / air-out with overrun alerts
  • Guest experiences

    In development

    Walk-ups to certificates, hands-free

Capacity-managed guest dives with self-registration at the front desk or by email link, the right waiver for each experience, and a certificate in their inbox after the dive.

    • Walk-up tablet & email-link registration
    • Bespoke waivers per experience type
    • Automated post-dive certificates
  • Equipment & compressors

    In development

Nothing overdue goes in the water

Inventory, assignment and service state for every regulator, tank and compressor — items past service are blocked from scheduling until they clear.

    • Service traffic light with scheduling interlock
    • Tank visual & hydrostatic compliance
    • Compressor maintenance & air-purity tests
  • Compliance & QMS

    Live

Your safety manual, running as software

The diving safety manual, SOPs and forms your operation already answers to — digitised, versioned and enforced in the same place the work happens.

    • Digitised safety manual & SOPs
    • Forms with retention rules & audit trail
    • Medical surveillance & depth progression
  • Document library

    In development

    One place the paperwork lives

An organised library for manuals, templates and waivers, linked to the experiences and equipment that use them — not a shared drive nobody trusts.

    • Folder tree with categories
    • Templates linked to operations
    • Version history you can audit
  • Tasks & notifications

    In development

    The follow-ups follow themselves up

Recurring maintenance, expiring certifications and approval steps become tasks and reminders — before they become findings.

    • Recurring & one-off tasks
    • Expiry and maintenance reminders
    • Approval steps with owners
  • Bookings & boat planning

    In development

From booking link to boat seat

One shareable link books a whole group, each traveller completes their own paperwork before arrival, and a visual planner puts every diver on a boat with capacity in view.

    • Group “shell” bookings with link & QR
    • Visual boat capacity planner
    • Nightly manifest & accommodation calendar

Let’s Dive

Run the dive day live

The morning manifest becomes a live board: readiness in plain words, air in and air out per diver, and an amber-to-red alert the moment a dive runs past its window.

  • Fit to dive
  • Needs review
  • Do not dive

Confirm → Dive → Close out

  1. Confirm

Daily confirmation turns the plan into a manifest — anyone not fit to dive is flagged before briefing.

  2. Dive

Air in, divers in water, a board the whole surface team can read from across the room.

  3. Close out

Air out, diver OK, and the dive log writes itself into the compliance record.

Compliance

Compliance is the product, not the paperwork

For scientific and aquarium diving, the safety case is the operation. Digital Nature digitises the manual, SOPs and forms — so the audit trail is a by-product of running the day, not a second job.

Switch on what you need today — People, Compliance — and add hubs as the operation grows.

Priced to the operation

Optional add-ons like accommodation scale with rooms and boats, not with how busy your season is.

FAQ

Do you charge per diver?

Never. Pricing is a flat monthly fee per operation, with optional modules priced by things like room count — not by how many people you put in the water.

Can we start with a single module?

Yes. Every capability is a module that can be switched on per organisation. Most operations start with People & fit to dive and add from there.

We are an aquarium, not a dive shop. Does this fit?

Aquariums are who the platform was designed with first — exhibit diving, DSO and DCB governance, and guest experiences are first-class, not adaptations.

How does it relate to our diving safety manual?

Your QMS defines the fields, workflows and retention rules; the software runs them. The manual stops being a binder and becomes how the day actually operates.

Is our data isolated from other organisations?

Yes — the platform is multi-tenant by design. Every record is scoped to your organisation, with role-based access inside it.

When do bookings and boat planning arrive?

The commercial suite is in development with dive-centre partners now. If boat planning is the thing you are missing, talk to us about the design-partner programme.

Put your whole operation on one manifest.

Real-time, modular and compliance-first — from a tiny tourist dive shop to a multi-site aquarium group.
